Sebastien Roche-Lochen – the photographer – states in the preface for that book that “There is beauty in the ritual of rolling a joint and I felt like it was my mission to show it to the world.”

At the end of the day, it’s just a bunch of people getting their joints ready. But, when you look at the images, you alternate between seeing the individuality of each person and at the same time seeing how this task unifies them.
